Maria Leonard was one of the founding artists at Artist’s Studio 106, she has been a full time artist at the studio for more than 20 years. Studying glass-painting and design originally at Staatliche Glasfachschule in Germany, and at Monash University in Australia she completed an art major in both painting and sculpture. Maria has been a commissioned portrait artist and has widely exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions. Maria has also been a finalist in the Alice Bale Art and the ANL Art Awards and a finalist in the Rick Amor Art Prize (2015) in Bendigo for her work on paper.
